UFG Insurance is pleased to welcome Jamie Abercrombie as vice president and industry segment development leader, a new role in the underwriting organization created to drive industry segment expertise as part of the company’s diversified growth strategy in the middle market business unit.  
  
Jamie is a seasoned industry veteran with over 40 years of experience in underwriting and risk management. Over his career, he has held prominent roles at several major carriers, with a strong track record of growth and profitability. Most recently, he served as vice president-head of commercial private equity at CNA Insurance in Philadelphia.

In his new role with UFG, Jamie will lead the development of the underwriting portfolio for a variety of industry segments to achieve growth and profitability objectives. “Jamie is a solutions-oriented leader who brings vast industry knowledge and experience to UFG,” said Vice President and Middle Market Business Unit Leader Tony Saylor. “We are excited to have him onboard as we further strengthen our market competitiveness through industry segment expertise.
