Overview:

 

UFG is looking for an Accounting Agency Bill Analyst to analyze agent accounts, reconcile and allocate payments; respond to phone calls and correspondence from agents, branch offices, marketing representatives, and underwriters. Resolve differences with agents regarding the monthly agent statements, work with agents on the collection of old outstanding balances. Daily, monthly, and annual reconciling and balancing of reports.

 

Responsibilities:

 

 

 

 

Daily Responsibilies Include:

 

  • Analyze and reconcile agents’ accounts.
  • Allocate premium payments.
  • Communicate with agents regarding billings, address concerns and resolve differences.
  • Work with agents regarding payments of old outstanding balances.
  • Develop strong business relationships with agents.
  • Write off uncollectible agents balances up to a predetermined limit.
  • Advise marketing representatives of status of agent account and other relevant information. Work with marketing representative on collection of old outstanding balances.
  • Claims Receipts Processing
  • Accounts Receivable Processing
  • Claims Cash Processing and Reconciliations
  • Bank Related Duties
  • Credit Card Processing and Reconciliation

 

 

 

Qualifications:

 

 

  • Two year degree in Accounting/Business 
  • One to three years of customer service or insurance background desired.
  • MS Excel and Word knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • General knowledge of Accounting principles preferred.
  • Accurate data entry skills, accurate 10 key skills, organization and time management skills.
