United Fire Group (UFG) has a disaster plan in place to ensure efficient claims handling and minimal disruption to customers in Gulf Coast region.

In the midst of the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, UFG stands ready to support and assist our customers. Our office in Webster, Texas, will remain temporarily closed due to catastrophic flooding in Houston and surrounding areas. However, we are fully prepared to continue to serve our agents and policyholders during this time period.

Storm teams on the ground in Texas

Our storm team of employee adjusters have been dispatched and are already on the ground in Texas, positioned to begin surveying damage and responding to claims as soon as they can gain access to impacted areas. Additional team members are on standby to travel to Texas as needed to ensure the efficient handling of claims.
